Spring was soon turning into early summer. May 2021 involved a lot of weeding, watering, mowing & strimming.
There was excitement in the middle of May when a rare 'Green Winged' Orchid was spotted in the park.
Other jobs that month included replacing a wooden post for one of the 'dog bins' and pressure washing the lodge in preparation for repainting.
In June we had a few visits to Old Catton Church. Much of the cemetery was overgrown, so there was a lot of mowing, strimming & cutting to be done. Eventually, it was decided that the groundsman from the recreation ground would oversee this work.
Back at the park, we started cutting back & lopping overhanging branches by the car park, plus some painting of the lodge work-shed.
